MoveCorp is seeking suitably experienced team members to work on the delivery of relocation management projects for our clients, their staff and operations. The relocation projects are as a result of a client’s new building project and most projects involve between 100 and 2000 staff relocating, and often interesting aspects such as research facilities/museums etc. No one day is the same!
The role involves both logistics planning, project management, contractor management, client & change management and communications program delivery.
The role of our consultancy is to provide a zero downtime solution for the clients during the transition period and this is achieved by implementation of a tried and tested methodology tailored to our client's specific requirements.
Two of the roles are based on site with a dynamic, major organisation overseeing all of their projects which range from research laboratories to engineering facilities.
The candidate must demonstrate confidence and ability in client relationship management, project management, reporting and communications. We seek customer service focused individuals who have a savvy approach to problem-solving and multi-tasking.

Relocation & Change Associate | 3-6 YRS EXP | with MoveCorp
The Relocation and Change Associate will work across many projects in the organisation supporting the project leaders and clients directly.
PLS NOTE Office in Northern Beaches. Time will be spent in the office and onsite with clients (anywhere in Sydney / CBD)
The organisation is a consultancy specializing in major business relocations (where a client is moving a significant office/ business from one building to another) - and the core services for the organisation are;

staff engagement and relocation change management

logistics planning and scheduling

removalist contractor management
The candidate will possess the following skills and experience;
-
Advanced MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and other programs such as PDF editors / Microsoft 365 / MS Project or Smart Sheets

Ability to format and make documents look great- a great design sense
-
Sound knowledge of scheduling and programming
-
Sound grammar and report writing skills
-
Quick, correct worker with proven multi tasking ability and a really great 'Can-Do' attitude

the right to work in Australia for more than 6 months
The role is varied and diverse, and you will get the opportunity to work with many different clients, from corporate to government, office based to other more challenging environments. One day is never the same! The MD and other project staff will train and support you in the individual tasks.
Your presentation and professionalism is high importance in this role, and you will need to be confident to liaise with varying levels of seniority within our client's organisations.
Daily tasks could be;

Coordinate relocation projects as directed within specified budgets and time allowances
-
Following a training period, work autonomously with clients on their site as required to deliver a seamless relocation experience following defined company methodology

Assist in the preparation of all programs plus all documentation required for projects

Develop and manage budgets
-
Continuous liaison with clients and clients staff members
-
Manage filing reduction and conversion programs
-
Tender, supervise and manage works by sub contractors
-
Chair project meetings
-
Reporting to Company HQ and Client
-
Providing support to clients staff in pre move and post move activities
-
Supervising the removal activities at the time of the move
-
Being on site and ensuring relocation is happening on schedule and managing unexpected issues during the move (some infrequent late night work)

Interstate travel required
The role is one which requires you to;
-
Work full time and flexible to client needs (sometimes Friday night and weekend work is required), sometimes early starts, or late finishes but always managed to be approx. 40hrs a week)

Travel around Sydney to attend to client meetings and onsite activities such as auditing or supervising removal activities
Good background and previous experience could be;

Event Management

Interior Design / Industrial Design / Fit-Out Project Management

Change Management / Communications / Consulting
Office in Lower Northern Beaches Sydney (although will need to work with clients all over Sydney)

Own car or access to car required. Valid drivers license

police check (as some of our clients mainly financial industry require it)

Prefer tertiary qualifications
