DEFENCE

Department of Defence

MoveCorp has had a long history providing services to the Australian Defence Force, from their Russel Headquarters relocation though to Army, Airforce and Naval base projects.

MoveCorp either works directly for Defence, or alongside managing contractor programs to provide expert input into the logistics design of storage, warehousing and materials workflow and handling.

Defence Logistics Transformation Projects 2 and 4.

It has consolidated the wholesale logistics network to seven primary sites, supported by a number of specialty / retail sites.

MoveCorp were integral to the delivery of both Works Package 2, Amberly and 4 , Tindall.

Moorebank

Units Relocation

The Moorebank Units Relocation project comprised the relocation of the School of Military Engineering to Holsworthy Barracks, as well as the establishment of a series of supporting precincts including an Entry Precinct (Chapel, Museum, DCS and DSO), a Combined Mess, Physical Fitness Complex and the Holsworthy Barracks Training Precinct.

This massive project was completed in July 2015, and was an incredible success.

In two separate award contracts, MoveCorp provided advice on:

  • Logistics and Storage solutions, working closely with BVN Architects

  • Decanting and Relocation planning, working closely with Defence and Laing O’Rourke, to minimise any disruption to the Military Units during this large transition.

MoveCorp was highly praised for our work on this project.
