MoveCorp was engaged by Sydney Water to plan and manage the relocation of a number of Sydney Water Departments from five locations to One Smith Street Parramatta, amongst other smaller projects. MoveCorp developed a strategy for the relocation to Parramatta that provided minimal disruption to the business and some of its 24hr operations over the move period. At an early stage, MoveCorp identified that maintaining split services across the two sites was not possible for a long period. Therefore, the decision was made (after feasibility planning) to relocate the organisation over three stages, including a main move phase of 950 staff, a significant challenge that was executed with great success.

MoveCorp was subsequently appointed to manage the relocation of:
• 450 staff from the numerous heritage sites at Potts Hill into their new development at the Potts Hill reservoir.
• 150 staff into the new Liverpool Facility
• 120 staff into the new Sydney Water Wollongong Office Building
