Project description:
Mirvac were planning a relocation for June/July 2007 to a new inner city location that encouraged a green and modern way of operating.
In preparation for this move, MoveCorp were engaged to provide document management services in order to move to a more controlled and uniformed system across the company. The two primary objectives for this project were:
1. Reduce on site quantities
2. Control of documentation
Achievements:
Mirvac agreed to MoveCorps recommendation report which specified a
need to convert their substantial lever arch filing system to a colour coded lateral system. This enabled a significantly reduced amount of cabinet hardware in the new fit-out leading to more space for people, meeting areas and break out spaces.
Overall following MoveCorps recommendations, Mirvac achieved a huge 70% onsite reduction of paperwork.
